I've written quite a lot about Life In A Day over the course of the past year. If you're somehow not familiar with it by name, Life In A Day is the documentary shot by YouTube users, directed and edited by Kevin MacDonald, and produced by Hollywood director Ridley Scott

Life in a Day, the so-called ‘YouTube movie’ that was shot by amateurs around the world and then edited together by director Kevin MacDonald and producer Ridley Scott, has gotten a lot of press.

It’s hard to believe that Life In A Day began its existence over a year ago. It was June 24, 2010, and tens of thousands of YouTubers accepted Ridley Scott and director Kevin MacDonald’s challenge to film their everyday routines.

Life In A Day, the documentary from Kevin Macdonald, Ridley Scott, and thousands of amateur filmmakers–otherwise known as “the YouTube movie”–is coming to a movie theater near you this summer.
